AFTER YOUR BRACE ARRIVES

Brace Care & Safety

Caution

Stop wearing your brace and contact BISHOP if you have numbness or tingling that doesn't go away when you loosen it, pain that keeps getting worse, a blister or broken skin, or a red mark that doesn't fade within 30 minutes of taking the brace off.

Contact BISHOP: 318-333-1331 ext. 800 or eric@mybishop.net

Brace problems

Red marks or pressure spots

Light redness right after you take the brace off is normal and should fade within about 30 minutes. If it doesn't fade, or a spot is sore, blistered or broken, stop wearing the brace and contact BISHOP so we can adjust it.

Numbness, tingling, or a cold or discolored foot

The brace is too tight. Pull the lace dial out right away to loosen it and loosen the thigh straps. If the feeling doesn't go away within a few minutes, take the brace off and contact BISHOP.

Pain while wearing the brace

Adjust the fit. Loosen the dial first (pull it out until it clicks), then try one change at a time: put the brace on again following How to Wear in the BISHOP app, move it slightly higher or lower on your knee (usually no more than 1 inch either way), or turn it slightly clockwise or counterclockwise until it feels more comfortable. Push the dial in and tighten again after each change. If it still hurts after adjusting, take it off and contact BISHOP.

Fit problems in the first 30 days are covered by our fit guarantee. See Warranty & Returns.
